The Alan Parsons Project

Fin da quando ero ragazzo ho sempre ascoltato gli The Alan Parsons Project.
Molte delle loro canzoni, ma direi anche gli album, hanno riscosso grandi successi, diventando dei must che hanno unito generazioni e generi, dal rock al pop al progressive.
Ho avuto la fortuna di assistere ad un loro concerto e, devo dire, che è un' esperienza stupenda.
Alan Parsons, è nato a Londra il 20 dicembre del 1948, diventò famoso appena ventenne, come tecnico del suono, vantando collaborazioni importantissime, tra cui vanno citati "Abbey Road" dei Beatles,"Atom Heart Mother" e "The Dark Side of the Moon" dei Pink Floyd, nonchè "Music" di John Miles.
Nel 1975, con lo scozzese Eric Woolfson, fondò gli Alan Parsons Project, con cui sono rimasti insieme fino al 1990. Dopo questa data, Alan Parsons ha intrapreso una carriera solista, con musicisti diversi, chiamando la band "Alan Parsons Live Project", rimanendo però fedele alle sonorità ed alle musiche dei Project.
