The Rocky Horror Picture Show

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" è un film, uscito nel 1975, tratto dal musical di "Richard O'Brien" "The Rocky Horror Show" del 1973.
Il film, nel 2005, è stato scelto per la preservazione nel National Film Registry della Biblioteca del Congresso degli Stati Uniti ( Fonte Wikipedia ).
La trama, gira intorno al personaggio di "Frank-N-Furter" ( interpretato da Tim Curry), il quale è un travestito bisessuale che vive in un castello, dove si vengono a rifugiare due ignari fidanzati: "Janet Weiss"(Susan Sarandon) e "Brad Majors"(Barry Bostwick).

Naturalmente il seguito della trama vi invito a vederla nel film, che si segnala, sia per la fantastica trama, sia per le musiche di grandissimo livello.
Il film, inoltre, va considerato come un passaggio dal rock'n roll (  notare la scena dove compare Meat Loaf ), al più nuovo Glam ( con molti richiami  a David Bowie ed a Iggy Pop di quel periodo)
Oltre ai già citati personaggi, nel film sono presenti anche Richard O'Brien(Riff Raff), Patricia Quinn (Magenta), Nell Campbell (Columbia), Jonathan Adams (Dr. Everett Von Scott), Peter Hinwood (Rocky Horror), Meat Loaf (Eddie), Charles Gray (criminologo), Jeremy Newson (Ralph Hapschatt), Hilary Labow (Betty Munroe).
