La canzone di oggi è Here comes the Sun (The Beatles)

La canzone di oggi è uno dei brani più conosciuti dei Beatles, scritta e composta da George Harrison e contenuta nell' album Abbey Road del 1969.
La storia della canzone ci riporta ad un periodo scuro per i Fab4, fatto di controversie in sala di registrazione (di lì a poco i Beatles si sarebbero sciolti), riunioni burocratiche alla Apple (la loro casa discografica) e non ultimo il fatto che Harrison fosse stato trovato in possesso di marijuana.
Secondo la leggenda, un pomeriggio George prese una pausa da tutto, ritrovandosi nel proprio giardino con Eric Clapton sotto un bel sole, cosa che lo ispirò a scrivere un testo.
Il brano è una splendida ballata in chiave folk rock, dove la chitarra acustica di Harrison fu accordata alzando di 7 semitoni e con una ritmica molto particolare, melodica e semplice da ascoltare, ma molto complessa per struttura, alternando battute in 11/8, 4/4 e 7/8.
Alla registrazione non fu presente John Lennon, il quale si trovava in ospedale a seguito di un incidente stradale, così che il Moog lo suonò lo stesso Harrison.
