Stephen Philip Jones è nato a Londra il 3 settembre 1955 ed è lo storico chitarrista dei Sex Pistols.
Di spiccata tecnica hard rock, negli anni ha suonato e collaborato con diversi gruppi ed artisti, come Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Eddie Vedder e molti altri.
