William Martin Joel, alias Billy Joel, è nato a New York il 9 maggio del 1949 ed oggi compie 65 anni.
Pianista, compositore, grande cantante, esordì nel 1971 senza riscuotere molto successo, ma due anni più tardi, grazie all' album "Piano Man", cominciò la sua ascesa al successo.
Nel 1977 avvenne la grande svolta per il successo, grazie all' uscita dell' album "The Stranger" che vendette oltre 10 milioni di copie, contenente la canzone "Just the Way You Are"  che gli valse il Grammy Awards per miglior canzone e miglior disco dell' anno,di cui oggi vi propongo il video di YouTube ed i testo.
